Refund Policy

1.Scope

Origin Neural does not currently offer self-serve subscriptions, individual data purchases, or any other consumer-facing transaction. All access is granted under a Structured Licensing Agreement ("SLA") executed between the licensee and Origin Neural. Accordingly, refund terms are governed by the individual agreement rather than by a general consumer policy.

2.Structured Licensing Agreements

Refund and termination terms for SLAs are set out in the individual written agreement executed between the licensee and Origin Neural. As a general matter, upfront data access fees are non-refundable once the data access period has commenced. Milestone-based payments are subject to the refund and termination provisions specified in the applicable agreement.

3.Evaluation Before Commitment

Because licensing engagements are negotiated rather than purchased, Origin Neural provides a scoped evaluation set against a target nominated by the prospective partner before commercial terms are agreed. Prospective partners are also encouraged to independently verify the catalogue's published provenance records before entering any agreement. Evaluation is intended to make refund disputes unnecessary by allowing the licensee to assess data quality directly in advance.

4.Prior Subscriptions

Any subscription or individual purchase entered into before 21 July 2026 remains governed by the refund terms in force at the time of that transaction. Holders of such purchases who wish to raise a refund or delivery issue should contact labs@smartledger.solutions with the account email, transaction identifier, and date of purchase.
